The WARCRY Process
Stemming from Airmen ideas, the WARCRY Process was developed to streamline necessary solutions from an idea to acquisition faster than ever.
1 | AIRMAN IDEA
Airmen bring their ideas to WARCRY. Ideas include concepts, sketches, prototypes, and anywhere in between.
2 | KICK OFF STRATEGY
Discuss use case requirements and define the product development strategy.
3 | REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Customer requests a proposal/quote and Bunker provides a task order narrative, statement of objectives, and pricelist. Form 889 will be provided for GPC purchases.
4 | PROJECT APPROVAL
Customer MIPR funds to AFDW. Bunker receives Task Order and project is kicked off (GPC purchases kick off when funds are received).
5 | PROJECT KICK OFF
We create a Project Requirements Document to guide expectations and a Work Plan Definition to detail timeline and milestones.
6 | CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Conceptual Technical Data Package presentation highlighting product feature set.
7 | TRL 4/5 PROTOTYPING
Bring solution to a TRL 4 or 5 status through MVP development, prototyping, testing, and evaluation activities.
8 | TRL 8/9 MANUFACTURING
Mature solution to TRL 8 or 9 production representative samples and processes through testing & evaluation development activities.
9 | ACQUISITION
Enable rapid acquisition by providing a marketplace to purchase the developed solutions through a GPC or separate task order.
